A welcome return to form for the band, the album was their first in more than a decade, and featured original members Lonnie Jordan, Harold Brown and Howard E. Scott, who sings lead on the title track and four other songs. Original member Lee Oskar appears on two tracks, while special guest José Feliciano sings and plays guitar on "East L.A."
